> EDTRpad is a free, browser-based word processor — an online WordPad — with rich text editing, tables, images, file import/export, and printing. No install required; accounts are optional.

## What is EDTRpad?

EDTRpad is a client-side rich text editor that runs in the browser. It is built on ProseMirror and provides a word-processor experience comparable to Microsoft WordPad — without requiring any software installation. Creating an account is optional and enables cloud sync of documents across devices.

## Privacy

Without an account, all document data stays in the user's browser via localStorage and no content is transmitted to any server. With an optional free account, documents sync to the user's private cloud space and are never shared.
